The doctoral journey is often overwhelming complex for doctoral candidates who have not carried out a project of such complexity and duration before and so time becomes a scarce resource. We use examples collected from the PRIDE community to illustrate how professionals support candidates, supervisors and school leaders with their activities in achieving a timely completion.
The 2022 PRIDE Network Annual Conference was opened by Søren S.E. Bengsten (Associate Professor, PhD; Co-Director of Centre for Higher Education Futures (CHEF); Danish School of Education (DPU); Aarhus University) with a keynote on “Limits of Responsibility? – New trends in the research-society-nexus and the implications for doctoral education and the PhD”.
The focus of the 2021 conference was the topic of “Improving Doctoral Training in Europe”. Pride Network Chairs Lucas Zinner and Melita Kovacevic gave a presentation. Watch their presentation and the entire conference here.
